"A Day Out developed the visual identity for Gallus Brewery, who do craft brewing differently. Bold, brash, Gallus!

They didn’t care about the delicate process, adding all sorts of extraneous ingredients or the artisanal, crafted, est.1845, blah blah blah. They makes tasty beer because you want to drink tasty beer. Plain and simple.

Gallus is a colloquial term most often used in the west of Scotland, and Glasgow especially, to describe an act of boldness or daring.

With this attitude and a name like Gallus it needed to back it up a confident visual identity. We threw out the meticulous, multi-coloured illustrative approach many other brewers adopt, and threw on a scribble."
