Brand Identity for an Electronic Music Nightclub in Barcelona

" Garage is an electronic music nightclub born in Barcelona in need of making a place for itself among the existing competitors. Unlike them, Garage shares its facade with a modernist building placed on one of the biggest intersections of the city: Diagonal, which crosses the whole city from left to right, and Passeig de Gràcia, the luxury shopping avenue.
The contrast between the electronic music scene and the high-living surroundings where the bar is located is represented on a typographic logotype, that features the elegance of a modern typeface with high contrast between thick and thin strokes, which has been stenciled to evoke a rebellious side. Thus, every character loses its left half becoming a unique bespoke typeface that gives the brand a memorable, strong personality.
To generate identity, this is uniquely combined with a bright color palette given by the material itself: paper, methacrylate or light, for instance.
