Brand design for Laboratorio Di Pasta restaurant, positioned in the boutique fast food category. We were asked to create a visual identity which combines Italian quality with a fast food experience.
In creating the brand's visual identity we attempted to express the value of the “laboratory” by creating a unique visual language which encourages visitors to experiment and compose their own personal dish.
The language is composed of photographic and typographic codes which create a new track through the restaurant space. The slogan we developed – Take it fast, eat is slow – conveys the union of fast food speed and a high quality product ( pasta imported from Italy ).
