In 2018, three catrinas were illustrated for Don Julio's Special Edition Shot Glasses and posters to be released in a big Día de los Muertos party in El Mercadito, located in La California, Costa Rica. The glasses included a man, a mature woman and a woman inspired by the famous painter Frida Kahlo, all in the form of skulls and decorated by the unique Mexican patterns and in a different illustration style for Don Julio by Marv Castillo.
